Our 2016 team kits have landed and look pretty damn fine if we may say so ourselves. Designed by our talented team leader/designer Rob, there’s also an even radder skinsuit in the wings, waiting patiently for the perfect time to reveal itself…watch this space!
We’re also excited to welcome more members into racing crew – Caz, Tom and Kris will be plunging head-first into the bewildering world of BC licences, safety pins and pre-race jitters as of next week. Give them a high five if you see them at a crit or track near you (although not during the race, that would be dangerous).
After running the team on our own last season, this year we’re very lucky to have support from some killer local sponsors to help us with our training and racing. Hub Vélo will be making sure our racing machines are the best they can be, Yard Sale continue to enable our pizza addiction and we love them for it, Dark Arts Coffee kicks us awake to train longer and harder, and Nuun keeps us hydrated on the bike and also on those incredibly rare occasions after we’ve had one too many post-race beers.
The year ahead is looking insane in the membrane. We’re soooo psyched to race at the Red Hook Crit in Barcelona and Milan again, and have our fingers, toes and tails crossed hoping it returns to London again too (PLEASE DAVID TRIMBLE PLEASE MAKE IT HAPPEN). Six of us will be road-tripping to Berlin in June to take part in the Rad Race Fixed 42 – a 42km race on closed roads. There’s a plethora of UK-based crits and track days we’ll be involved in, and will be cooking up some of our own events and rides too. Basically it’s going to be hella busy, and hella fun. We look forward to seeing you out there. HAIL PIZZA.
