It’s July. It’s London. It’s Red Hook Crit day. It’s raining…
Not the perfect conditions for such a demanding race, but a great leveller for those who might not have the same top end speed but make up for it with bike handling ability. There were worried riders, wet spectators, tons of media and of course, some crashes.
It was also a great day for Kris as he marked his Red Hook Crit debut with a fine 28th place finish in one of the craziest and confusing finals we’ve ever seen.
